Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Photo a Day: Day 101. Back to the office after a week working on Shelter Island, NY.
Photo a Day: Day 62. In this photo you can see a type of jellyfish people around here a ‘moon jelly,’ but when researching, the animal known to the rest of the world as a moon jelly has a bell shape.
This jelly glows a bright green when disturbed at night, and are common enough to give a pretty spectacular show when swimming or driving a boat on a dark night.
Photo a Day: Day 59. This photo is of the water looking toward the North Fork of Long Island, NY from Shelter Island, NY. It was a very windy, overcast day, but you can’t really see how windy it was in the picture, but what you can see are some gusts, or faster moving sections of wind on the water. The darker patches on the water are gusts of wind racing toward me.
